The Jacaranda Center

Our Story

The Jacaranda Center for Family and Youth Development Inc began as a summer program aimed at helping middle school girls transition successfully to high school. Established in 2008, this nonprofit organization has since engaged over 1000 youth through year-round huddles, summer programs, and school-based initiatives. The center has also provided year-round parent engagement programs and staff development training across more than 60 schools, community organizations, and churches in Howard County, Baltimore City, and Prince George’s County.

Impact

Through various programs, The Jacaranda Center has positively impacted over 1000 youth, fostering community service and international missions focused on literacy and empowerment in Zambia.
