The Immunization Partnership
EIN: 76-0695612 · League City, TX
Our Story
The Immunization Partnership (TIP) originated from the Houston-Harris County Immunization Registry, founded by Dr. Ralph Feigin in response to a measles epidemic in the 1990s. This initiative aimed to improve the immunization status of children in the Houston area. In 2008, the local registry transitioned to the statewide ImmTrac system, fulfilling Dr. Feigin's vision of a consolidated immunization database for Texas. Recognizing the need for broader impact, the Board of Directors rebranded as The Immunization Partnership, expanding its mission to increase immunization rates across the state.
Our Impact
TIP advocates for disease prevention through a network of vaccine champions who promote education and evidence-based public policy. The organization strives to be the trusted resource for increasing immunization rates, ultimately creating healthier communities throughout Texas.
