About the Hershey Symphony Orchestra

For over 55 years, the Hershey Symphony Orchestra has been a cornerstone of cultural enrichment in Central Pennsylvania. This dedicated orchestra, comprised of 80 accomplished musicians, voluntarily shares their talents to entertain and inspire the community. Weekly rehearsals culminate in a vibrant season filled with masterworks, pops concerts, and special performances across the region.

Impact on Youth Music Education

The Hershey Symphony is committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians through its annual youth music education programs. The Festival Strings Program offers middle-school students the chance to perform in a supportive youth string orchestra, while the Young Artist Competition recognizes and fosters exceptional musical talent in South Central Pennsylvania.
