About Helicon Foundation

Founded in 1985 by harpsichordist Albert Fuller, Helicon Foundation takes its name from the mythical Greek mountain home of Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory. This nonprofit organization serves as a vibrant forum for exploring chamber music within a historical context. Helicon produces an annual subscription series of four symposiums, each focusing on a specific musical or cultural question, featuring carefully selected repertoire, performers, and instruments.

Impact of Helicon Foundation

Helicon has released five commercial recordings featuring works by renowned composers such as Bach, Vivaldi, and Mozart, performed on period instruments. The foundation has also been showcased at prestigious events, including Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival.
