About The Haven
Founded by Dr. Teresa Marshall, The Haven began as a small shelter run out of a veterinary clinic. In 2001, it evolved into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, partnering with the City of Fairhope to manage the local animal shelter. The Haven is dedicated to providing shelter and finding loving homes for abused, neglected, and homeless animals.

With a remarkable 90% save rate for the City of Fairhope Animal Shelter, The Haven has successfully placed over 10,700 pets into loving homes and conducted more than 22,600 medical exams and vaccinations.
