Our Story
The Good Samaritan Network was established in the fall of 2018 in response to the growing addiction crisis in New Hampshire. Initially formed under the New Hampshire Alliance, GSN aimed to mobilize churches to support individuals struggling with substance use disorder (SUD). However, the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 highlighted the urgent need for recovery-friendly environments, prompting GSN to evolve into an independent nonprofit in June 2021. This transition allowed GSN to broaden its mission, focusing on equipping the entire community, not just religious organizations, to address addiction effectively.
