The Golden Scoop was founded by sisters Lindsay Krumbholz and Amber Schreiber to create meaningful employment opportunities for differently-abled individuals. Inspired by successful models, they opened an ice cream café in December 2019, which welcomed its first customers on April 14, 2021, thanks to community support and grants.
