The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN) was established to support community-led solutions to alleviate hunger in nearly 50 countries. By uniting food banks, GFN mobilizes food systems change and ensures that food banks have the resources they need to operate effectively.

In 2023, GFN members served 40 million people and prevented an estimated 1.8 million metric tons of CO2e emissions, showcasing the significant impact of food banks in addressing hunger and food waste.
