The GEANCO Foundation was founded in 2005 by Dr. Godwin Onyema, inspired by his father and a British missionary doctor during his youth in Nigeria. After immigrating to the U.S. in 1974, he dedicated his life to improving healthcare in Nigeria. With the support of his family, including his son Afam Onyema, the organization has been committed to realizing this vision.
