Our Story

Hope Village was founded in 1967 by Bill and Lucille Williams, who sought a loving home for their daughter, Sally, diagnosed with mental retardation. Frustrated by the lack of services available, Mrs. Williams became the driving force behind the establishment of Hope Village, which opened its doors in 1970 with just six residents. Today, the legacy of the Williams family continues to inspire a community dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Impact

Hope Village provides affordable lifetime care and respite services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With an average annual cost of $34,800 per resident, the Foundation subsidizes $18,000 per individual, showcasing the importance of community support in maintaining these essential services.

Why Donate?

Annual contributions from generous donors are vital for Hope Village to fulfill its mission. Donations directly fund programs that improve the quality of life for residents and support their ongoing care.
