Our Story

Kebtah was founded in 1995 by Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig, a Dogon High Priest, to preserve and promote the rich culture of Kemet, originating from the Nile Valley. The organization addresses the challenges faced by indigenous communities due to colonial influences and modernity through cultural education and the reclamation of sacred sites.

Our Impact

Kebtah has educated over 1,000 cultural exchange travelers, reclaimed 400 acres of sacred land, and donated $840K to indigenous villages in Africa, alongside $325K for cultural reclamation in the West. These efforts underscore the commitment to preserving indigenous culture and supporting communities.
