Our Story

Founded in 1982 by a dedicated librarian and the local Delta Gamma alumnae chapter, the Anchor Center for Blind Children began with just ten children. Today, it serves over 195 children annually, providing essential support and education tailored to the unique needs of children with visual impairments. The state-of-the-art facility in Stapleton, established in 2007, is designed specifically for these children, ensuring a nurturing environment for growth and learning.
