Our Story
In the late fall of 1928, a group of dedicated individuals recognized the urgent need for a fire company in Daretown. This led to a community meeting on December 4, 1928, resulting in the formation of the Daretown Fire Company in January 1929 with 24 charter members. Under the leadership of the first chief, R.C. Cole, the original fire station was built in 1930. Over the decades, the company has expanded its apparatus and membership, evolving into a modern fire company with over 30 firefighters committed to serving the community.
