Our Story

The Community Partnership for Families of San Joaquin, founded in 1998 in Stockton, California, is dedicated to addressing the social and economic challenges faced by low-income families. Through collaborative efforts with community leaders and organizations, CPFSJ operates Family Resource Centers that provide essential tools and resources to help families improve their quality of life and break the cycle of generational poverty.

Our Impact

Each year, CPFSJ serves over 25,000 individuals, offering services that lead to increased family income, reduced reports of abuse, and improved school readiness for children. The organization has returned over $4 million to the community through its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, enhancing financial literacy and helping families avoid predatory lending.
