Our Story

Founded in 1988 by Theodore Cantrell and Adell Warren, the Committee of 100 for Oakwood University was established to provide essential support for students and the university. Inspired by similar initiatives at other institutions, this organization has successfully generated over $1 million in funding since its inception. The transition from Oakwood College to Oakwood University in 2008 marked a new chapter for C-100, which continues to thrive with the support of dedicated alumni and community members.
