The Citizen Scientists League Inc, known as the Suncoast Science Center/Faulhaber Fab Lab, was founded in 2014 to inspire and support the next generation of innovators through experiential learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). The organization has its roots in a critical need identified in 2005 by Dr. Fritz and Ping Faulhaber, leading to the launch of the Science Lending Library, which provided free, standards-based science kits for classrooms.

In 2014, the Fab Lab and the Lending Library merged, creating a collaborative environment that fosters creativity and learning. The center offers innovative programs, camps, classes, and volunteer opportunities for individuals of all ages, empowering them to explore new interests and develop essential skills.
