The Christine Avery Learning Center was founded in February 2015 by CiCi Avery Weston in memory of her mother, Christine W. Avery. Located in the Educational Wing of Hill Street Baptist Church, the center began by offering afterschool and summer camp services for K-5 youth. Over the years, it has expanded to include early learning programs, aiming to empower marginalized communities in Western North Carolina through education and support.
By providing high-quality educational programs, the Christine Avery Learning Center fosters academic, social, and spiritual growth, ultimately developing the next generation of leaders.
