Our Story

In 1995, Kirby Wilson was diagnosed with Sanfilippo β€œB” Syndrome, a devastating genetic disorder. Despite her passing in 2019, her legacy lives on through The Children's Medical Research Foundation, Inc., founded by her parents, Sue and Brad Wilson. This foundation is committed to funding vital research aimed at finding a cure for Sanfilippo Syndrome and other neuro-genetic disorders. To date, over $4.4 million has been granted to ten research groups, with more than 95% of all receipts directed towards research funding.
