About The Campbell Course

Founded in 1996 by Duncan and Cindy Campbell, The Campbell Course, home of The Children’s Course and First Tee – Greater Portland, was established to provide a dedicated space for children to learn and play golf. Originally opened as Rivergreens Golf Course in 1961, it was redesigned into a 9-hole, par 3 course in 1989, creating a nurturing environment for youth development.

Impact on Youth

The Campbell Course positively impacts children ages 4-18 by offering educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. Partnering with First Tee, the course embraces core values to enhance learning experiences.
