Our Story

The Center for Relationship Education was founded by Joneen Mackenzie, a registered nurse who recognized the negative outcomes of poor relationships. Established in 2003, this nonprofit provides essential relationship education skills training to individuals of all ages. With the development of the REAL Essentials curriculum, CRE serves diverse demographics, including youth, couples, and military families, across 47 states and 7 countries.
