The Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA), founded in 1983 by Felicity Roosevelt “Bebe” Benoliel, is dedicated to fostering equitable and sustainable artistic practices for emerging visual artists. Serving over 400,000 artists and audience members annually, CFEVA connects more than 1,500 visual artists, positioning them as vital contributors to Philadelphia’s vibrant cultural identity.
