Our Story

Founded in 1938, The Carver Inc has been a pioneer in providing essential after-school support for students in Norwalk. As the largest provider of after-school programs for middle and high school students, Carver operates in various local schools, including Side by Side Charter School. Our dedicated team of certified teachers enhances the school curriculum with personalized, project-based learning, ensuring that every student receives the attention they deserve.

Impact

In the fiscal year 2022-2023, Carver served 2,889 K-12 students through our after-school and summer programs. Remarkably, 100% of Carver seniors have graduated high school on time since 2005, with nearly all matriculating directly into college, often as the first in their families to do so.
