Our Story

Founded in 1995, The Bison Children’s Scholarship Fund is dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for low-income families in Western New York. By providing scholarships for private K-12 education, BISON aims to eliminate the waitlist for scholarships and work towards a future where quality education is accessible to all.

With a direct impact on over 1,900 children across 77 diverse schools, BISON has assisted over 41,000 low-income students since 1999. This commitment to educational equality is transforming lives and communities.
