Bethania Kids

Our Story

The ministry that became Bethania Kids began with acts of mercy from Dayavu Dhanapal and her daughter, Priscilla, in Kodaikanal. They provided food and clothing to desperate children from their modest home, supported by donations from missionary friends. Recognizing the need for a permanent home, in 1987, American teacher missionaries established a 501(c)3 foundation to organize the ministry. Today, Bethania Kids serves nearly 1,000 children and families across multiple facilities in India.
