In 2011, Riverside Church acquired a building with the help of an anonymous donor, leading to the establishment of The Beacon Resource Center. Local leaders formed The Beacon Advisory Team to assess community needs, resulting in the renovation of a 30,000 sq. ft. space that reopened in 2015. This vibrant center now hosts over 15 partner organizations, providing essential programs for the community.
The Beacon serves over 150 children and adults weekly through various academic, recreational, and mentoring programs, fostering community transformation and access to vital resources.
