Our Story
The BASE was founded in 2013 by Robert Lewis, Jr., who has dedicated over 40 years to coaching and mentoring young athletes. This nonprofit organization focuses on developing urban talent and guiding youth towards success in academics, careers, health, and life through the power of sports.
Impact
Each year, The BASE serves over 1,500 youth, awarding $50 million in scholarships since its inception. With more than 800 student-athletes receiving college guidance and financial aid support, the impact is profound.
