Our Story

The Barrington Land Conservation Trust is dedicated to protecting and stewarding the natural, scenic, and historic open spaces of Barrington, Rhode Island. Through land acquisition, educational programs, and advocacy, the Trust works tirelessly to preserve the area’s remaining natural resources, including vital water resources, streams, ponds, marshlands, and woodlands.

Impact

Currently, the Trust owns over 285 acres of land, including several wildlife preserves, enhancing community value and environmental health while minimizing damaging development.
