Since its inception in 1978, the Kentucky Aviation History Roundtable has envisioned a dedicated aviation museum. Incorporated in 1981 and granted 501(c)(3) status in 1984, the museum opened its doors in 1995, enriching public understanding of aviation's significance in Kentucky.
Welcoming guests from all 50 states and over 140 countries, the museum has contributed $10.3 billion to Kentucky's economy and supported 129,000 jobs as of 2017.
