Since 1984, the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund has been dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty among single-parent families in Arkansas. Founded by Marjorie Marugg-Wolfe and Ralph Nesson, this grassroots initiative began in Northwest Arkansas, providing essential financial assistance and personal support to low-income single parents. With a holistic approach that includes mentoring, workshops, and career coaching, ASPSF has expanded its reach to serve all 75 counties in Arkansas and Bowie County, Texas.
