Founded in 1950 by dedicated parents, The Arc of the East Bay emerged from a vision for a better future for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This organization has tirelessly worked to create a community where individuals with I/DD can thrive, advocating for their rights and evolving with the needs of the community.
