Our Story

The Arc of Opportunity in North Central Massachusetts was established in 1952 by a group of dedicated parents striving to improve the lives of their children with disabilities. Over the years, it has evolved through the merger of two agencies into a comprehensive organization that provides advocacy, education, employment, residential, and recreational support. The mission is to create and support lifetime opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families, helping them reach their fullest potential.
