About The Arc of Butte County
Founded in the 1950s by visionary parents, The Arc of Butte County has been a beacon of hope for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This nonprofit organization is dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their abilities, can lead fulfilling lives and be included in their communities. Serving Butte, Glenn, and Tehama Counties, The Arc provides essential services to over 1,700 children and adults with IDD.
Our Impact
The Arc of Butte County promotes and protects the human rights of individuals with IDD, advocating for their full inclusion and participation in society. With over 432,800 direct service hours provided, the organization has positively impacted the lives of more than 1,600 individuals and families.
