Founded in 2013 in Burbank, California, The Animal Protectorates emerged from a passionate advocacy group against puppy mills. The organization opened Operation Adopt, a rescue-only pet store, to educate the public and improve adoption procedures. Since then, it has expanded its reach to Tennessee, focusing on various programs to support orphaned pets and promote humane education.
