Our Story

The Alliance for Health Equity, formerly known as the Brandywine Health Foundation, was established in 2001 from the proceeds of the sale of the Brandywine Hospital. This organization is dedicated to fostering a more equitable, resilient, and healthy community for all residents of the Greater Coatesville area.

Impact

Over the past two decades, The Alliance has distributed nearly $19 million in scholarships and grants, positively impacting tens of thousands of individuals and families. Initiatives like the Youth Philanthropy Program and the Youth Mental Health First Aid Project have significantly enhanced community health and well-being.
