Our Story

Founded in 1965, The Access Agency Inc. emerged from a commitment to combat poverty and support at-risk youth in Windham and Tolland Counties. Inspired by President John F. Kennedy's vision and the subsequent War on Poverty initiated by President Lyndon B. Johnson, the agency was established to provide essential services that empower low-income families. Over the decades, Access has evolved, yet remains steadfast in its mission to facilitate economic independence and self-sufficiency for those in need.
