Impact

The 1890 Foundation has secured an unprecedented $35 million award for Urban and Community Forestry projects, reinforcing its role as a central hub for the 19 Black Land-Grant Universities. This initiative addresses pressing challenges in urban forestry and environmental justice for under-resourced communities.
