Our Story
Founded by UCSF clinician scientists Michael Hogan, MD, and Samuel Kimura, MD, That Man May See, now known as the All May See Foundation, has dedicated over 50 years to the mission of restoring sight and eliminating eye disease. This pioneering organization was established to bridge the gap between clinical practice and laboratory research, fostering collaboration at a time when few institutions focused on eye diseases. Since 1971, the foundation has been instrumental in raising funds for groundbreaking research in glaucoma, trachoma, retinoblastoma, cataract surgery, and more, while nurturing the next generation of leaders in ophthalmology.
