The Thames River Heritage Park Foundation is dedicated to developing, promoting, and preserving a unique Connecticut state park along the Thames River. This park encompasses sites of national and historical significance in Groton and New London, fostering a connection between communities and their rich heritage.

Impact of the Foundation

In just a few years, the Foundation has trained 58 ambassadors through its acclaimed Docent Academy, hosted over 15,000 visitors on Hop-on Hop-off Harbor Cruises, and introduced more than 300 youth and educators to the heritage sites through engaging boat and walking tours.
