Our Story

The Texas Partnership for Out of School Time (TXPOST) was founded in 2011 to enhance the quality and availability of out of school time (OST) opportunities for youth across Texas. By fostering collaboration and public investment, TXPOST is dedicated to supporting OST programs that drive continuous quality improvement.

Impact

TXPOST believes every Texas youth deserves access to high-quality afterschool and summer programs. Currently, only 20% of school-age children in Texas participate in summer programs, and just 15% in afterschool programs, underscoring the urgent need for increased access and quality.
