Founded in 1992, the Texas Panhandle War Memorial honors the brave veterans from the Texas Panhandle who dedicated their lives to preserving American freedom. The vision of Mr. L. D. Weeks led to the establishment of a memorial that serves the twenty-six counties of the region. Incorporated as a nonprofit in 1994, the foundation has developed a 15,000 square foot Education Center and Memorial Park, providing a space for reflection and remembrance.
