Our Story

The Texas Liver Foundation was established in 2020 by a group of dedicated physicians in Texas who recognized the urgent need for local support in the fight against liver disease. Following the closure of the American Liver Foundation's local offices due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our founders took action to fill the gap in community resources. With a focus on raising awareness about liver health, the foundation aims to combat the silent killers of fatty liver disease and cirrhosis, which have alarmingly high mortality rates in Texas.
