Our Story

The Texas Agricultural Land Trust was established in 2007 by landowners for landowners, addressing the urgent need to protect rural lands in Texas. With a foundation built by leaders from agricultural, wildlife, and landowner organizations, TALT is dedicated to conserving the state's agricultural heritage, wildlife habitats, and natural resources.

Impact

Since its inception, TALT has successfully conserved over 280,000 acres of land, safeguarding 632 species of plants and animals. The organization’s conservation easements also save over 76 billion gallons of water each year, significantly benefiting Texas' environmental health and agricultural economy.
