Our Story
Founded in 2004 by Chris and Mandy Condit, Texas 4000 for Cancer emerged from a personal battle against cancer. Chris, a Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor, envisioned a unique way to combat this disease by creating the longest charity bicycle ride in the world, stretching from Texas to Alaska. This journey not only raises funds but also spreads hope and knowledge across the continent.

With over $7 million raised, Texas 4000 has significantly contributed to cancer research and support services, including donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
