The founding team of Tetra Bio Distributed came together in March 2020 within the Helpful Engineering incubator. They focused on addressing the critical shortage of medical ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic by designing the Tetra Ventilator Splitter, an innovative device that quadruples the utility of a single ventilator. This project marked the inception of the first open-source product developed by Tetra Bio Distributed.
