Our Story

Founded in 2008, Terra Sancta Pilgrimages emerged from a deep commitment to the Franciscan charism and the spiritual needs of pilgrims. The journey began in 2004 when Fr. Alex led his first pilgrimage in the Holy Land, inspired by his experiences with Palestinian Christians. Joined by Patti Giangrande, OFS, the ministry has since dedicated itself to fostering a deeper connection to faith through transformative pilgrimage experiences.

Our Impact

As a grassroots, volunteer-run ministry, Terra Sancta Ministries operates one of Michigan’s Marian Shrines and has been leading pilgrimages to the Holy Land since 2008, nurturing spiritual growth and devotion.
