Our Story

Founded in 1946 by outdoor enthusiasts, Tennessee Wildlife Federation is committed to restoring the integrity of Tennessee’s wildlife and natural resources. This diverse coalition of conservationists works tirelessly to address urgent conservation issues and engage future generations in outdoor activities.

Impact

In its 25th year, the Hunters for the Hungry program achieved a record-breaking milestone, donating over 148,000 pounds of venison, providing 592,044 servings of protein to Tennesseans in need. The Federation has also restored thousands of acres of vital habitats and played a key role in passing significant conservation legislation.
