Founded in December 1969, the Tennessee Kidney Foundation (TKF) emerged from the collective efforts of physicians, business leaders, patients, and their families. Officially established in 1972, TKF has tirelessly worked to raise awareness about kidney disease while providing essential medical care and preventive education across 42 counties in Middle Tennessee. As an independent 501c3 nonprofit, TKF ensures that 100% of funds raised are invested locally, making a direct impact on the community.
