Founded in 1981, the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) began by renovating a single, run-down Single Room Occupancy (SRO) residential hotel. Today, TNDC stands as the largest community-based development corporation in San Francisco, advocating for local residents against gentrification and ensuring their voices are heard.
