Founded in 1998 by dedicated parents and teachers in the Little Village/South Lawndale community of Chicago, Telpochcalli Community Education Project addresses the critical lack of social, cultural, and educational resources available to families. Since becoming a registered nonprofit in 2002, Tcep has focused on mobilizing youth and adults for social justice work through education, leadership development, and community organizing.
Tcep provides education and empowerment opportunities that enable participants to take action to improve their communities, fostering social justice and equity.
