Founded in 2005 by Carol and Bob Leone in memory of their daughter Sara, Teens to Trails connects Maine teenagers with the great outdoors. The organization was born from a desire to honor Sara's love for nature and to ensure that all teens have access to the enriching experiences that Maine's landscapes offer.
Teens to Trails collaborates with over 70 middle and high schools across Maine, providing outdoor experiences that enhance mental and physical health. These programs help combat loneliness, elevate mood, and foster strong social connections among teenagers.
